BMX Pegs
If you are interested in getting a bike for freestyle riding over racing you will need a set of pegs on the front tire of your bike. BMX Gyro
Freestyle BMX riders also need a gyro, which is a small cable that detangles a BMX bike’s brake cable. When performing freestyle stunts riders perform many tricks and stunts that involve 360 degree turns of the handlebars. BMX bikes without the gyro are not capable of performing these tricks successfully.
BMX Freecoaster
Freestyle BMX riders should also have a freecoaster. This is particularly important for riders who want to participate in flatland. This is a type of hub that freezes the cranks when the rear wheel of the bike is rolling backwards.
