BMX Bikes today

When BMX initially began riders did not use BMX bikes. At the time BMX bikes simply did not exist and riders modified the bikes that were currently being sold to fit their needs. BMX bikes started being built in the early 1980s and initially the main difference between a BMX bike and a street bike was that BMX bikes had a 20 inch wheel. BMX is a relatively new sport and the evolution of the bikes that riders use is still actively taking place.
